The analysis and study about the new and old Hyanggyu (úÁЮ) in Andong districts

Abstract
The rule of a district in the Cho-seon dynasty period was classified into three classes. The first class was made up of the king- governor( O-) chief ( q4) and t-he second class, the Kyongjaeso( Vr~F_pT) Yuhyangso (MOP-TO
Myon. Riim( E ffifE), and the third class, Kyongjeori(y~,i$ 3~) Youngjeori( a3t1) Hyangri ( g3t) . The major characters of the second class among these classes are Jaejisajok(*EY&-&). Therefore wo can say that the victory and defeat of the centralizaton of power that the Choseon dynasty pursued depended on how did the central government adjust interests between itself and Jaejisajok(~6EA:E&) . These -Faejisajisajok( jJitLD:L&) on the whole had the organization which was called Hyanganjojik(a
M) and the regulations which regulated the members of the organization, that is, Hyanggyu (ag) . The Jae j - i:;ajok(;(EJtbfM&) of A.ndong districts who had the stronger Hyangkwon() than one of any other district in the whole country had two Hyanggyu( M#J) which was cal-led Hyanggyugujo(O O) and Shinjeongsibjo( r5j!-tA) . Specially the Hyanggyugujo(NASA) which is able to assume the date of making to be after the twelfth year
